25 DAYS OF CHRISTMAS, DAY #19: Magic Snowflake Soiree Technique Card...

Today's 25 Days of Christmas project is a card from my November Technique Class.  It features the Magic Snowflake Technique which uses our Ink Refills.  I did several versions and let the class attendees choose the one they wanted to do.  They all voted for this version:

For the bottom layer, I used Lucky Limeade and Tempting Turquoise.  For the top layer I used Tempting Turquoise, Island Indigo and Not Quite Navy.   Technique directions follow the supply list.

MAGIC SNOWFLAKE TECHNIQUE:
  1. Rub your Embossing Buddy™ over Whisper White Glossy card stock.
  2. Stamp your image onto the cardstock using White Craft ink.
  3. Cover with White Embossing Power.
  4. Tap off the excess and heat emboss until it appears shiny and brighter.
  5. Saturate a cotton ball about half-way with 91% rubbing alcohol.  Squeeze 2 drops of one color of reinker onto left side of the cotton ball and 2 drops of second reinker color on the right side.
  6. Dab the cotton ball all over the entire stamped piece, until the card stock is completely covered with color—the stamped image will disappear under the ink.
  7. Heat again, slowly moving the heat gun around until the ink evaporates and the snowflake looks white and pretty again.
