CUT & READY TO GO CARD BASES...

Stampin’ Up! is running a test to gauge interest in a card-base product.  The testing area includes the Southeast area of the United States (Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia), so if you are in these states, LUCKY US!

The two card-base packs (Winter and Valentines) will be available to our customers in this Southeast area through December 31 (while supplies last).  While these card bases include retired colors, they make it so simple to put together a quick card and the colors chosen are beautiful!  I suspect these will go quickly, so don't delay!

LOYALTY REWARDS - When you purchase $50 or more, you qualify for my Loyalty Rewards program!  This Frequent Stamper program is my way of saying "thank you" to my returning customers in appreciation of their business and is in addition to other Stampin' Rewards.  Earn FREE stamps with MarieStamps.com!

CHRISTMAS TEA TINS #2: Merry Christmas Copper Treat Tin...

Today, I have the second in my mini Christmas Tea Tins series to share with you.  It is also the simplest of the five I designed.

I just LOVE the words in the Merry Christmas Framelits and I had to use the Merry from them for one of my tins!  I was tempted to add more elements to it (aren't I always?), but decided to just emboss the oval instead.

You can see the top a little better in this one.  For both the oval on the front, and the top, I embossed the pieces with the FABULOUS new Tin Tile Embossing Folder and then used a Sponge Dauber to lightly brush the Copper Shimmer Paint on the raised areas.  Although I really liked it on the Merry Merlot, I'm not sure I'm loving it on the Galvanized Metallic Paper.  I'll have to think more on that before making more of them.

For more details on the basics of assembling the Christmas Tins, please check out the first Christmas Tin post:  Coppery Snowflakes Christmas Tin.  Hope you are enjoying these easy breezy Christmas Tins!

CHRISTMAS TEA TINS #1: Coppery Snowflakes Copper Tea Tin...

Every year my husband and I host a Christmas Party / Game Night for all our friends and I always make a party favor of some kind for everyone to take home.  I have to make a lot of these, so I try to make them very simple and cost effective.  This year, I just knew I had to use our darling Copper Tea Tins for my Christmas treats!  I made five different styles and will share them over the next few days.

Today I am sharing the one I made using the Snowfall Thinlits Dies from the Snowflake Showcase promotion.  Today is the LAST day to order from these sets, so don't miss out!  I LOVE these snowflakes!

In the second picture, you can just make out the top and see how the corners are rounded with the Detailed Trio Punch.  Sorry I didn't get a better pic that that.  For this tin, I opted for one of the snowflake patterns in the Joyous Noel Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP) to top it and nothing else.  Getting closer to a #SimpleStamping project!

I used two strips of Tear & Tape Adhesive going all the way around the tin to attach the 3 x 12 DSP.  You can cover four tins with one sheet of DSP, not including the top.  Although you can also use card stock for the tops and then emboss it as I did on some of the coming Christmas Tins.  If you prefer more of a reveal of the copper tin on the bottom, you could cut the paper to a width of 2-¼and get five tins per sheet.

The front layers are attached with Stampin' Dimensionals.  And the center of the snowflake is one of our Faceted Gems that I colored copper with the Shimmer Paint and Sponge Daubers.  I hope you enjoy this project!
