CELEBRATE WITH SPLITS!...

Here's the SCOOP (Sweet Scoops that is):  Banana Splits make any celebration fun!  This is the final card from my Art of Punch Art class last week.  For this one, I went for simple.  I used retiring DSP and colors, but I still managed to get in a sneak peek item from the new catalog!  The large scalloped piece is our new 2-3/8" Scallop Circle XL Punch coming out July 1.  This punch nests beautifully with our current Scallop Circle Punch (soon to be known as the 1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch).  I absolutely LOVE it!  Of course, I love all punches.  And we have more CUTE new punches coming out in new catty (including a Two-Step Owl), so be sure to check back with me on July 1 for highlights of our GORGEOUS new catalog!

PUNCH DIRECTIONS:
  • Bowl - Ornament Punch (Real Red) with most of the bottom cut off.  Trim the top off to make the appearance of a footed bowl as shown above.
  • Banana - Punch about one-quarter of a Wide Oval punch on the edge of cardstock (Barely Banana) and discard this piece (first punch on left of yellow piece).  Punch over and around this punched section with the Large Oval Punch as shown to the left.  This results in a banana shape as shown in the above right on the yellow piece.  Sand to round the ends more if needed.
  • Hot Fudge Topping - Punch one Scallop Circle (Chocolate Chip shown, but you could use other colors for different topping types).  Using the 3/4" Circle Punch, punch a very small amount from the edge with one scallop in the center of the circle as shown to the left.
