CHRISTMAS CARD CLASS, Card #3...

This card is a gift card holder that my daughter Jenni designed for the class using a project she saw by Dawn Griffith.  We changed it up a bit and gave class participants a choice between the two color schemes.  So easy!

ORNAMENTAL GIFT CARD HOLDER SUPPLIES:
  • Stamps – Delightful Decorations, Warm Words, Bold Snowflakes wheel
  • Cardstock –
    • Elegant Eggplant CS, 4 ¼” x 11”, scored @ 3”, 5 ½” and 8”
    • Old Olive CS, 1” x 7”
    • Whisper White, scraps for ornaments
  • Ink – Elegant Eggplant, Old Olive Classic, Versamark
  • Punches – Ornament, Word Window, ¾” Circle
  • Accessories – Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Stampin’ Dimensionals, 2-Way Glue Pen

  1. Great cards. Love how the inside opens. Do you have a tutorial for this. I'd love to give it a try.

  3. No tutorial right now. It's a pretty old "standard" gift card holder. I have another featuring Dasher that I am doing at my workshops right now that I may post on my website in the coming weeks and if so, I will post a tutorial then.

The cutting/scoring directions are in the post though and just mountain and valley fold according to the picture. Sticky Strip the inside peak together on 3 side edges (NOT the punched side at the top of the "peak"). Then punch the peak with two Word Window punches and one 3/4" Circle punch in the middle - all punched with approximately half of the card showing through the punch window. Hope that helps!
