I couldn't resist designing a Love Bug Punch Art card for Valentine's Day.  As soon as I saw the new Blossom Petals Punch in the Occasions Mini Catalog, my gears began whirring.  The first thing that came to mind were wings for bugs, bees, etc.  I like the love bug design, but I'm not sure about the black.  They probably would have shown up better with a different color.  Maybe I will try them again in another color.  Pink???  This is a good combo for a masculine Valentines card though.

I'll be off for a few days or so for surgery.  Til then...enjoy!

  1. Too cute!! I know I have a folder of Valentine heart animals somewhere in my 'teacher stash', now just to figure out where I put it??????? Thanks for reminding me:)

  2. Beautiful card... as to your color selection at first I thought you had used basic grey and wonder if that color would also look good. I love grey because with Pink it looks so french vogue vintage (if that is a valid phrase). Anyway love the use of the Blossoms Petals punch, guess it will have to be on my 'wanted' list for next time. Tks for sharing.

  3. Cute! this will be on my punch inspiration blog post tomorrow. TFS!

  4. These love bugs are totally adorable!!! I love how you made them kiss!! Thanks so much for the inspiration. All the best with your surgery too. Hugs!

  5. I love your Love Bugs! So cute for a kid's Valentine! I also love seeing the polar bears as your blog heading. I was the original creator of those polar bears a couple of years ago and I keep seeing them everywhere. Love that they are so popular!! Keep on inspiring us with your punch art!! I love it, too!!
