RUFFLED ROSE VALENTINE...
Yesterday, I shared the Ruffled Punch Border Technique from my Technique Thursday Class.  We also made a Ruffled Flower using the same technique with only a couple of differences.  Directions follow the recipe.  I used the flower in my Ruffled Rose Valentine's Day card that I made using the Mojo Monday Sketch of the week. Try your own card using this sketch and send me a picture of your results!  I will share a few of the cards on my blog later.

RUFFLED PUNCH FLOWER DIRECTIONS:
1.  Cut a strip of cardstock or DSP 1" x 11" or 12".

2.  Use a Border punch to punch one side of the cardstock or DSP.

3.  Place the end of one strip into the rollers of your paper crimper, squeeze and run the whole strip through the crimper.  Repeat one or two more times.

4.  Punch a 1⅜” Circle and cover one side completely with Sticky Strip.

5.  Begin adhering strip around the outside of the circle, pinching the crimps together to bend the strip around and pressing them into the adhesive.

6.  When you come all the way around for one layer, continue the strip moving inward (like a spiral) going around again for a second layer.  If desired, you can continue with another strip and do three layers as I did.

7.  Finish with a button, brad or punch center.
