Finally got a bit of time to put together my May Paper Pumpkin Kit and thought I'd share!  When I opened the kit, I was so excited to see such fun, masculine cards.  I love that I could get 6 Father's Day and Birthday cards put together in only a short time!

Normally I would take the time to do a few alternative designs, but I was so pressed for time and really needed to get my cards in the mail to our dads, etc., ASAP.  So only a minor arrangement change-up on a couple of them this time.

TOOL TIP TUESDAY: Updated Marker Chart...

UPDATED!!!  Out with the old and in with the new!  For those of you who like to update your marker chart along with the new In Colors - like me - I have created and updated marker chart for your marker box.  Just print it, cut it out and adhere over the old chart on your marker box.  I have mine in alphabetical order with the In Colors separate on the top row.

TOOL TIP TUESDAY: 2014-2015 RGB & HEX CODE CHART...

Today I have the file that so many of you have been waiting for and emailing me about--the updated RGB and Hex Color Code chart for the 2014-2015 colors!  Using the official RGB codes from My Digital Studio, I have updated my custom handouts with the color codes for all our exclusive Stampin' Up! colors including our brand new In Colors.  New this year, I have combined both the RGB and HEX codes into a one-page sheet to make it even easier to use than ever before!

The RGB codes are great for journaling on scrapbook pages or for personalizing a sentiment for a card on your computer.  Of course, you want the colors to match the Stampin' Up!'s colors of the rest of your project!  My Digital Studio is perfect for this--which is exactly why I love it!  However, maybe you can't invest in our fabulous software just yet, but would still like to match the colors for your fonts in Microsoft Word or other software.  These codes will help you do just that.

The HEX Color Codes are used for HTML to match the exclusive Stampin' Up! colors on websites, emails, etc.  They are primarily useful for demonstrators which are among many of my readers.  Enjoy!  I printed mine out and put them in a sheet protector as I use them constantly!  I hope you find it as useful as I do!

IT'S A BLUE-TI-FUL LIFE!!!...

Today I have a card I did for a shoebox swap.  I tried to get as many Occasion Catalog items in there as I could and I managed to get FIVE in there!  I found my inspiration in the gorgeous Watercolor Wonder DSP and worked from there.   I decided to use the Hardwood stamp for the background and flip it from it's expected use for a masculine card – I think it looks beautiful on this feminine card!

The focal piece is stamped with a sentiment from the Perfect Pennants stamp set and finished with the new Scalloped Tag Topper Punch.  The little flowers are punched from the Watercolor Wonder DSP with the new Petite Petals Punch and then color distressed.  Here is another variation I did using the same stamp set, but a different sentiment for a birthday card:
