It is easy to miss the Simply Shammy on page 206 of our new Annual Catalog, but trust me, you don’t want to overlook it! The Simply Shammy is small, lightweight, reusable, portable, economical and CHEMICAL FREE--everything you want in a stamping tool!
Now don't get me wrong - I LOVE my Stampin' Scrub and Stampin' Mist! They are still the gold standard for cleaning my stamps. However, with only the Simply Shammy and some water, you can clean all the little nooks and crannies of your stamps quickly and easily. Just wipe or tap your stamps on it and your stamp is ready to go again in a moment. And it doesn’t leave lint behind like baby wipes which drives my OCD self crazy! It’s the closest thing to having a magic wand to clean your stamps with! Plus it fits inside our Standard Clear-mount Stamp Case which makes it easy to take the cleaning cloth with you on the go. I am SO impressed with this tool!
Don’t be surprised that your Simply Shammy will swiftly be covered in ink. Remember, it is pulling the ink from a stamp and it does hold onto it fast. However, the ink will not transfer to other stamps and it remains completely useable no matter how messy it may look!
TIP: If you are not storing the Simply Shammy in a case, make sure to squeeze the excess water out of it before taking it to your work surface to avoid unintended water drips getting on a precious project! If the shammy starts drying out during a long stamping session, simply flip it over or rehydrate it with a few spritzes of water to refresh it.
