DOWNLINE CHRISTMAS SWAPS...
I made these Christmas swaps this weekend for my upline's downline meeting. All swaps had to be Christmas/holiday theme. I was going to use one of my Christmas in July cards to make life a little easier on me right now - especially since I just had my Open House on Saturday and was exhausted. But... I decided I *needed* to use one of my brand new sets that came on Friday. You know the feeling... when your sets are just begging you to get inked up?

This set, Delightful Decorations, is from the upcoming Holiday Mini Catalog that begins on Sept. 1 - as are the Ornament Punch and the Petals-A-Plenty Textured Impressions Folder. Aren't they adorable? Couldn't wait to share them with everyone and see what they thought!

AN ORNAMENTAL CHRISTMAS SUPPLIES:
  • Stamps – Delightful Decorations (#116517, $21.95), Teeny Tiny Wishes (#115370, $36.95)
  • Card stock – Whisper White, 8.5” x 5.5”, score @ 4.25"
    • Real Red, 4" x 5.25"
    • Shimmery White scraps for ornaments and punched sentiment
    • Garden Green scrap for Modern Label
  • Ink – Real Red, Summer Sun, Garden Green, White Signo Gel Pen
  • Punches – Ornament (#116794, $15.95), Modern Label, Word Window
  • Accessories – Textured Impressions Petals-A-Plenty Folder (#116824, $7.95), Gold Elastic Cord, Stampin' Dimensionals
I did decide to only use one bow (on the Summer Sun ornament) rather than 3 on the card for the swap - I decided I couldn't face 45 of those bows with the elastic cord! And I think simpler is probably better.

Also, I didn't put everything on Stampin' Dimensionals as I did with this card (hard to tell from this angle) because I didn't have enough for 11 per card plus have enough for my Butterfly Stamp Camp this Saturday! ;)
